Attorney Nunotte Zama, a native of Haiti, has been living in the United States for more than twenty-five years. In addition to being a full-time faculty member at Roxbury Community College, Attorney Zama runs her general practice law firm offering legal services in immigration, family law, personal injury, and mediation. Prior to that, Attorney Zama worked as a Consultant to the General Consulate of Haiti in Boston (1999-2002) and as a Counselor to the Permanent Mission of Haiti to the Organization of American States in Washington, DC. (1996-1999).
Attorney Zama has been a member in good standing of the Massachusetts Bar since 1995. She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Massachusetts in Boston and an Associates Degree from Roxbury Community College.
Ms. Zama has served as a board member to various non-profit organizations, including Haiti Global Youth Partnership, Inc.; Benjamin Health Center; Mattapan Community Development Corporation; Roxbury Community College Foundation; the Haitian-American Public Health Initiative and Jamaica Plain Porchfest. She also volunteers at the Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement and the Middlesex Lawyer of the Day Program. Attorney Zama lives in Melrose with her husband and two children.
